What we collect when you book with P31 Natural Hair Care (operated by P31 Natural Haircare LLC), how we use it, and the choices you have.
Overview
P31 Natural Hair Care ("P31," "we," "us") is a natural hair care salon owned by Shannel Nelson at 3045 Freedom Drive, Suite 13, Charlotte, NC 28208. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit p31naturalhaircare.com, send a booking request, book an appointment or pay for a service, and how we use it.
What We Collect
Information you give us
- Booking form: your name, phone number, email address, the service you want, a description of your current hair, a preferred day/time, an event date, and any message you send.
- Booking calendar: your name, phone number, email address, and the appointment you choose.
- Payments: the amount, the service and a payment confirmation. Card details are entered directly with our payment processor (see Payments below).
Information collected automatically
- Basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. Our hosting provider uses this for security and to block spam. We do not use advertising trackers on this site.
How We Use It
- To respond to your booking request and schedule, confirm, remind you about, or reschedule your appointment.
- To take deposits and payments and to issue refunds under our Booking Policies.
- To plan your service (for example, your hair and scalp history).
- To manage memberships, including monthly billing.
- To keep the site secure and stop spam and abuse.
We do not sell your personal information.
Payments
Card payments are processed by Stripe, whether you pay by tap in person or through a payment link. Your card number goes straight to Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe handles your payment information under its own privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.
Text Messages (SMS)
We only text you if you tick a consent box on our booking form. There are two separate, optional boxes: appointment and service messages (confirmations, reminders and service updates) and marketing messages (special offers, discounts and new service updates). You can agree to one, both or neither.

- Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase.
Mobile opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except the service providers that deliver our messages.
Retention & Security
We keep client records as long as you are an active client and for a reasonable time afterward for our business records, then delete them. We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no system is completely secure.
Your Choices
- Reply STOP to any text to stop messages.
- Ask us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing or calling us.
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information online. Appointments for minors are booked by a parent or guardian.
